Hiding Love

I'll push it away
The thoughts that used to be
That had to be always
No one needs to know
Secrecy is no sin
If you don't believe it to be
We can be one
We can become only
The world is ugly
We're the only beauty
The resistance is fake
The war is elsewhere
So what are we to be
A piece of living clarity
How dare they want to know
But I fear they may
Watching in the dark
A camera in the wall
What's to come of love
Is the betrayal a necessity
They'll take away existence
It isn't really worth living
Without you in my memories
What else are we
But a fading beautiful moment
I'll lie ever endlessly
If that's what's required to be
Free of the horrors that ensue
What's to become of us
To become of you
A fleating moment lost
A defeated mind's death
But i did love you
And you had loved me
We weren't meant to be.

---Inspired by the movie "1984". I highly recommend the movie, great story of love in a totalitarian nation.
