August burned down red
And September came up sick
The world was moving
Falling forever
This was the autumn of despair
Death wishes were gods
Ruling sanity's failing frailty
Blood covered love
In secrecy's crimson disgust
We watched idly
Everything broke down
Decay was the master
We were the minions
Nothing could be aided
We led ourselves to believe
Foolish drowning thoughts
October's polluted waters
Sink us all to damnation
The colours fade to rotten black.
